Oklahoma's Most Loved Farmer's Markets

Oklahoma is passionate about agriculture. From small towns, like Jones, to the big cities like Tulsa, agriculture is taught early on in schools. What better way to learn about, connect with, and witness agriculture than to stop by your local farmer's market? We asked Oklahoma who your favorite farmer's markets were, and you had a lot to say! With almost 300 comments on our Facebook post, it was easy to see that Oklahoma is passionate about their local produceand the farmers that grow it

We heard what you had to say, and we wanted to highlight some of the OETA community's favorite farmer's markets!


Ruzycki Farms

Without a doubt, Oklahoma LOVES Ruzycki Farms in Jones! Emily and Michael, Ruzycki Farms owners, often share the love by hosting local food trucks on the days that they are open, which are Friday-Sunday from 10am to 6pm.

Choctaw Creek Farmer's Market

Looking for a hot pepper competition? Choctaw Creek Farmer's Market hosts a Pepper Festival, where you can find just that! When they aren't eating ridiculously hot peppers, they're having a very well loved Market every Friday from 6-8pm in the months of May through October.

Tulsa Farmers' Market (formerly Cherry Street)

Tulsa Farmers' Market is unique because they offer different markets almost all year round. Starting with the Winter Market every other Saturday from the months of January to March from 8:30am to 12pm. Then, the weekly market starts up every Saturday in the months of April through October from 7-11am. Finally, they have the holiday farmers' market every Saturday in November and December from 8:30am to 12pm.

Farmer's Market at Scissortail Park

One of the OKC area's most bustling markets is at Scissortail Park! Every Saturday between the months of April and October from 9am to 1pm, you can catch live music, participate in morning yoga, and check out over 40 vendors.

Eastside Fresh Market

Newer to the Farmer's Market scene but already very loved by the OKC community, Eastside Fresh Market runs every Tuesday from May to November between the hours of 4-7pm! This Market is brought to you by OSU, so you can bet there is plenty of opportunity to learn.

Open Daily/Off Season Options

Providence Farms' Conscious Community Co-op

Open daily from 8am to 8pm, Providence Farms brings Edmond fresh produce, and more, through Conscious Community Co-op! On top of their market, they also offer gardening and woodworking classes and host Farm to Table Dinners.

Flora Bodega

Brought to you by the Paseo Farmer's Market in OKC, Flora Bodega is a worker-owned cooperative and neighborhood grocer that prioritizes purchasing from local food producers. They're open daily from 11am to 6pm, except on Saturday's when they open at 9am. This is also the location that Paseo Farmer's Market online orders are picked up!

Urban Agrarian

Founded in 2008, Urban Agrarian has supported more than 140 of Oklahoma's farmers food producers. Both the Edmond and OKC locations are open daily with hours differing per location. They offer online ordering and a grocery box subscription as well!
