OETA Welcomes News Veteran Scott Cassady to Oklahoma News Report Team

OETA is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Cassady to its Oklahoma News Report Team. Cassady brings with him a wealth of experience in the news industry, having worked for KWTV 9 as an overnight news videographer for a decade.

Oklahoma City, OK - After taking a break from news production for a few years to spend more time with his family, Cassady is eager to return to what he calls "His first love". With his children now a little older, he is ready to take on new challenges and contribute to OETA's mission of delivering high-quality news to the people of Oklahoma.

At OETA, Cassady will have the best of both worlds - a steady work schedule and the opportunity to shoot and edit stories that have a positive impact on the state. In addition to his own work, he will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding younger videographers in the newsroom.

"We look for Cassady to not only learn how to tell stories in a longer format than you see on commercial news stations but also to teach younger videographers in the newsroom the tricks of their trade. This is a win-win for all of us, and I'm excited to have Cassady join our team," said Susan Cadot, VP of Production.

With his extensive experience and passion for news storytelling, Cassady is sure to make a valuable contribution to the OETA team. The team looks forward to his many contributions and is excited to see the stories he will tell for the people of Oklahoma.
