Throughout the month of July, OETA has some great musical performances you won’t want to miss. Gloria Estefan, music photography, music documentaries, Fleetwood Mac, Chuck Berry, Roots of Latin Jazz—I could go on and on. Icon: Music Through the Lens, a new six-part series that exposes the eye-opening, thrilling world of live music photography. Featuring irreverent interviews with some of the most famous music photographers, musicians, and music journalists, Icon: Music Through the Lenscaptures what it was like on both sides of the camera when the most recognizable images in history were taken. 


Buddy Guy: The Blues Chase The Blues Away

Tuesday, July 27 | 8 pm

American Masters dives into the career of legendary blues guitarist Buddy Guy, a pioneer of Chicago’s West Side sound and major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Featuring new performances and interviews with John Mayer, Carlos Santana and more.
