The Pink Panther (1963)

European thief Sir Charles Lytton (David Niven) plans to steal a diamond known as the Pink Panther. However, his nephew George (Robert Wagner) also plans to flee with the diamond, and to frame Charles for the crime. Blundering French police examiner Jacques Clouseau (Peter Sellers) intercedes, but finds his career and his freedom are in jeopardy.

The Chicago White Sox are set to play the in the World Series of 1919, and are at odds with their team's owner, Charles Comiskey (Clifton James), who pays his players terrible wages despite the team's popularity. A group of professional gamblers offers the Sox's best athletes a fortune to throw the series and the players agree on the deal. However, their careers are ruined when the dark secret, known as the "Black Sox Scandal," reaches the public consciousness.
 

Autumn in New York (2000)

Autumn in New York follows the successful restaurateur and womanizer, Will Keane (Richard Gere), who is a master of the no-commitment seduction until he runs into Charlotte Fielding (Winona Ryder). Charlotte is half Will's age and twice his match, a 21-year-old free spirit yearning to get out and taste the excitement of life. It is a season long encounter that will shatter Will's preconceptions about women, relationships, and responsibility.
 

Stargate (1994)

Professor Daniel Jackson (James Spader) teams up with retired Colonel Jack O'Neil (Kurt Russell) to unlock the code of an interstellar gateway to an ancient Egyptian-esque world. They arrive on a planet ruled by the despotic Ra (Jaye Davidson), who holds the key to the Earth travelers' safe return. Now, in order to escape from their intergalactic purgatory, Jackson and O'Neil must convince the planet's people that Ra must be overthrown.
